Students must understand that participation in any form of athletics at FICS is a privilege and not a student right. We desire wide student participation in our sports program. Every person related to our athletic teams is an automatic school representative. We desire only those who will accept this responsibility with character. Negative attitudes, actions and inadequate academics will immediately remove even the best of athletes from the FICS sports team. The administration reserves the right to determine a student’s eligibility at any time.
Our current athletic program at FICS offers the following athletic teams: eight man tackle football, girls volleyball, girls and boys basketball, boys baseball, golf, and cheerleading. FICS is a member of the SCACS 2A athletic league. FICS has been very successful in it's first four years of athletic competition by winning three boys basketball state championships, one girls basketball conference championship, two boys basketball conference championships, three baseball conference championships,one state championship baseball runnerup, and one baseball state championship. Our athletes at FICS are very blessed to have a state of the art fitness center to improve their athletic ability. We look forward to the future as we continue to build a quality athletic program.
